In
January 2002, I went to a Blue Man Group show at the Luxor in Las
Vegas, Nevada. The show was spectacular! The music was amazing and
the interaction itself was entertaining, from front row to back row!
|
My
first Coachella festival, in 2002?, I met and saw many celebrities,
such as Woody Harrelson and Alicia Silverstone. Here, I couldn't miss
a Kodak opportunity with one of my favorite DJ's, DJ Tiesto. His music
gets your heart pumping and your feet jumping! Live on stage, he is
awesome!
|
The
same year, BT also performed in the "techno" tent at Coachella.
He is a very talented musican and composer (plus he's pretty cute!).
His music is a favorite in our household.
|
Of
course, how could I resist Faerieworld in Sedona, Arizona of May 2003,
and miss my favorite artist of all time? Brian Froud inspires magic
and creativity, not only in my writing and art, but in my dance as
well.
|
And
who better to marry than Wendy Froud? She is another talented artist
who also inspires youthful imagination. I was privileged to meet them
both!
|
As
electronica or digital music goes, Chemical Brothers is by far my favorite!
But running a close second is Crystal Method, who I had the pleasure
of meeting at Coachella 2004.

Danah
and I once had the honor of appearing as the guest dancers at Shakira's
surprise birthday party in 2003. We regretted not taking pictures with
her (since nobody believed us!), though it would not have been appropriate
at the time. But for Sonia Montero de Falcone's New Year's Eve party
of 2005, Sonia was more than gracious as a hostess. She danced with
me on the dance floor, and we had a lot of fun with her family and
friends. And to top it off, she is drop dead gorgeous!
